Saturday Programs 10 am – 4 pm
On most Saturdays this fall, we will be hosting an array of special activities at camp. In addition to these awesome things, every weekend the Archery & BB Ranges and the Climbing Wall will be open for your use.
14th – All Star Sports
Come live out a sports fantasy featuring the Fitness Course, Soccer, GaGa Ball, Kickball, and more! We’ll also be debuting our Human Foosball activity, we’ll teach your kids some useful exercises and warm-up techniques, and a how to class on healthy snacks that are fun for the whole family!
21st Ready, Aim, Fire!
If you’re a big fan of the BB & Archery we do every weekend, you won’t want to miss out on this day devoted to all shooting sports! We’ll be running Slingshot Art, Angry Birds, a Men In Black style training with Nerf Guns, and have informational classes on Archery and BB for Cub Scouts to earn their Shooting Sports Award Level 1!
28th Scout vs Wild
Ever wanted to know what it is like to be Bear Grylls? On this Saturday, we’ll be showing you some survival techniques in case you’re ever stranded in the wild. From starting a fire without matches and how to build a shelter to finding your way without a map and compass and First Aid with just the clothes on your back, this promises to be a fun and educational day for all!
5th Mad Scientist
He’s Alive! He’s Alive! Okay, well maybe you won’t become Dr. Frankenstein, but you will learn some awesome experiments! We’ll be in the lab brewing slime and elephant toothpaste, launching bottle rockets high in to the air, and showing off the exploding stick reaction! The best part? You’ll get all the instructions to do these things at home!
19th The Great Art-doors
Ahh...the natural beauty of the outdoors in Autumn is a wonderful sight. This weekend will be all about art in the outdoors. We’ll use natural elements to create masterpieces and self portraits, paint some pumpkins, create rainsticks, learn origami, and take a hike to the Palisades Cliffs to do some leaf peeping. We’re even going to throw in some slingshot art for good measure!
26th Do You Have GUTS?
Inspired by the classic 90’s kid’s game show, this weekend is all about fun obstacle course activities! You’ll climb through an elastic jungle, walk a tightrope, maneuver a course on wheels, and more! Don’t forget to climb our own version of the Astro Crag (also known as the climbing wall).
2nd Pioneer Day
Ever wanted to live like the pioneers of the 18th and 19th centuries? Want to learn how to use rope and some poles to build useful gadgets? Want to learn to cook over an open fire or using a dutch oven? How about using an axe, saw, or hatchet? Check out this fun activity day and learn some useful new skills!
9th Engineering Expo
Engineers are an important part of our lives. They do everything from build the roads that connect us to develop technologies that let’s you play the 708th level of Candy Crush on your phone. Get a taste of what they do by building a robot hand, learn new ways to fold paper airplanes, and some basics of electrical circuits.
16th Everyday Super Heroes
Fire fighters, police officers, and paramedics/EMTs are the real-life every day heroes. Come meet some in person, tour a fire truck, assist in their training in the smoke house, and learn some basic first aid skills that could help someone’s life!

The Alpine Annual Pass is not available for adults and is for individual use only and is non-transferrable.
Food Service offered
If you are attending our Saturday program we will be offering lunch served out of our Dining Hall for just $8 per person. If your unit is doing weekend camping and would like all the meals for the weekend, that can also be arranged.
