Cub Activity Day -- Wands & Wizards

Every Scout wants to feel magic running through their fingertips, and this is exactly their chance to do that!  Play a game of Quidditch, mix some potions, learn a trick or two you can do at home, and prepare to face evil dark magic at this special event!  Saturday, May 11, 9 am to 3 pm.  $20 per youth ($17 for annual passholders) includes activities, lunch, and special edition patch (first 400 registrants only).  $6 per adult for lunch.

Family Fun Weekends

A great event for the whole Cub Scout Family!  Join us for several fun filled weekends at Alpine Scout Camp. Registered Cub Scouts, their parents and siblings (five years or older) are invited to enjoy the Cub Scout program together.  Arrival starts at 6 PM on Friday. Program begins at 9AM on Saturday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday are included.  Registration must be made in advance; there is a limited amount of space. The fee for the weekend is $70 per youth ($60 for annual passholders) and $40 per parent.  Remember this is a rain or shine event - bring your rain gear just in case, be prepared!

Merit Badge Workshops

Each month the Alpine Scout Camp will play host to a different merit badge class or classes to help your Scouts advance!  Preregistration is required for all classes at least one week in advance.


During Spring Break Week, Scouts wishing to keep their brains in high gear (and possibly earn a NOVA Award) can come to STEM Camp.  Work with our staff of amateur science whizzes and a cadre of outside professionals on a variety of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math merit badges and activites.  Cost is just $350 per youth ($325 for annual passholders).  Open to Scouts BSA and Venturers.

Climb the Night Away

Climb the Night Away is a lock-in style event featuring Climbing and Cope activities as well as games, movies, and a pizza party.  Event is May 4th, 10pm-6am, and is an Open House style event for all Scouts BSA and Venturers. LIMITED TO 40 SCOUTS. Each participant will receive a headlamp and patch.  $45 per person ($38 Annual Passholder).

National Youth Leadership Training – N.Y.L.T.

Give your Scout, Venturer or Sea Scout the opportunity to work, live and play together as they put into action the best Scouting has to offer.  This is a six day course that centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, what he or she must KNOW and what he or she must DO.  NYLT integrates the best of modern leadership theory with the traditional strengths of the Scouting experience.
