Nature/Ecology

What better place to explore our sensitive environment and its living creatures than the Nature Lodge? Discover the secrets of the various plants and animals found right here in Alpine.  The collection of animals on-site allow the campers to get up close and personal with a large array of animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, geckos, scorpions, and tarantulas.

Special Programs

     Nature Night Hike: This hike takes place on Mondays and Thursdays and is led by the Nature Director.  Packs are led through the camp, stopping to look through a telescope at the great starry sky.  The hike begins at the flagpole at 8:30 p.m.  Leaders can sign up for the hike at the Cub World Office.
