What to Bring

The following is a list of clothing and other items that Scouts will need to take to camp. All items (clothing, towels, etc.) should be labeled with the Scout’s name. While in camp, the scouts will be sleeping on cots. It is important that your child brings a sleeping bag or 2 warm blankets.

 

  • Bug Repellent (recommended)
  • Sun Block (recommended)
  • Flashlight + Batteries
  • Rain Poncho
  • Small backpack
  • Sleeping bag or 2-3 Blankets & Sheets
  • Laundry bag
  • Baby Wipes
  • Warm Weather Jacket
  • Jeans or Long Pants
  • Any Prescribed Medicine in original container
  • 2 Towels (1 for Pool, 1 for Shower)
  • Sneakers (No open toed shoes or flip flops)
  • Boots (Highly recommended)
  • Socks: 1 Pair per day +2
  • Underwear: 1 per day +1
  • Lotion
  • Swimming Trunks
  • Soap in a plastic container
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush and Toothpaste
  • Comb and Brush
  • T-shirts 1 per day
  • “Class A” Uniform (Required for dinner)
  • Cub Scout Handbook
  • Pillow (optional)
  • Money to purchase snacks and souvenirs.

 

ALL ELECTRONICS SUCH AS GAME BOYS, PSP’S, IPODS, CELL PHONES, ETC. SHOULD BE LEFT AT HOME, AS THEY DISTRACT FROM THE CAMP EXPERIENCE. THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST ITEMS.
